Arras
We moved to France in 2021, after years of increasing levels of stress, tension, with the pandemic and political changes not just looming but in full swing. The move felt like the culminating point of sorts, after a year of preparations we were finally going in a new direction.
It was a long day of packing, flying, driving; we got to Arras late at night, just in time to catch the welcome committee: dozens, possibly hundreds, of rabbits along the entry road – on the sides, in the roundabouts, all around.
